Lineapelle Material Talk at GATCH: A Multisensory Leather

The Lineapelle Material Talk High Design Crafting The Future was presented in collaboration with GATCH, a cultural lounge located in Seoul’s historic leather district. As a space dedicated to leather culture, GATCH provided the ideal environment for expanding conversations around contemporary leather and for exploring how this material continues to evolve within design, craft, and culture.

The talk examined High Design as a forward-thinking philosophy defined by three core dimensions: High in Quality, High in Innovation and High in Culture.

Within this framework, Lineapelle partnered with .NOTE to introduce a new multisensory design language. By merging the tactile depth of leather with the emotional power of scent, the collaboration revealed how memory, time, and material expression can harmoniously interact.

 

The resulting installation offered guests an immersive experience inviting them to feel, sense, and interpret the profound emotional and cultural resonance of leather in a completely fresh way.
