A Leather Journey from Pompeii to Seoul
“A Leather Journey from Pompeii to Seoul” was an exclusive cultural event honoring the restoration of the ancient Pompeii tannery and the enduring legacy of Italian leather craftsmanship that continues to shape contemporary design.
Dedicated to art, design, and cross-cultural dialogue, the evening invited guests to explore how leather can act as a living bridge linking material innovation with cultural expression, Pompeian Red with Seoul Vermilion, and traditional craft with modern emotion.
The event took place at the Italian Ambassador’s Residence in Seoul, a venue chosen for its profound cultural and symbolic significance. Its setting provided a meaningful backdrop for celebrating heritage, international collaboration, and the shared artistry that connects Italy and Korea.
